Mole, Skin Tag & Wart Removal
Advanced Electrolysis (also known as Advanced Cosmetic Procedures) is a comfortable and effective treatment. This versatile method can treat a variety of skin blemishes, from skin tags and age spots, to facial thread veins, moles, warts and milia, as well as vascular conditions.
Advanced treatments are available to remove a variety of cosmetic skin blemishes quickly and expertly. Unlike hair removal, these treatments generally require only one appointment and take advantage of the very precise needle control required by electrolysis. (Some cases may require more than one treatment). Only those who have undertaken specialist advanced training are able to perform these treatments.
Our therapists are qualified in advanced electrolysis treatments and are able to remove skin tags, milia, thread veins (Telangiectasia) and blood spots (Campbell de Morgan spots). Our therapists can also treat warts, verrucae, Sebaceous Hyperplasia, Syringoma, Seborrhoeic Warts, and perform cosmetic mole removal (technically moles are not removed by electrolysis, the overgrown tissue is treated and ‘shrunk’ down). Permission from your GP may be required for some of these treatments, please check with our therapist prior to treatment.
Red Vein Removal
Thread Vein Removal – Same day treatments
Thread veins are tiny veins that appear most commonly on the cheeks and nose. Small thread veins are red, but larger ones look purplish. They have many names, including:
Broken veins (not an accurate name, because they are not actually broken).
Normally, the tiny veins in the skin are invisible, but in some people they expand and show through the skin. One cause of this is too much exposure to the sun over the years. Another is pregnancy or oestrogen treatment. They may also be inherited. Thread veins can sometimes be a sign of rosacea, a skin condition, or can result from overuse of steroid creams. Thread veins are more obvious after mid-life, when the skin becomes thinner and loses some of its collagen.
